Wow, time keeps flying by and I keep procrastinating on my packing. I have one more week left at work; my last day is next Friday. I do work tomorrow, though, which stinks. But, I'll be glad to get out of there and have my awesome week at Comic-con and then almost another week at home before I leave.
Today, I took 4/5 of the pets in to get their vaccinations up to date. Everyone has a clean bill of health (even our 7 year old labs) except for Cali, one of the kitties. She is only a year old and has somehow managed to break off her lower right canine. So, looks like that is going to have to come out sometime next week before I don't have my discount anymore. I also had Beamer boy in there on Wednesday for bloodwork. Everything came back perfect including his distemper/parvo titer a year later (on a one year vaccine). I'm hoping to vaccinate him the least amount possible since he is a golden retriever. He still got his lepto, lyme, and kennel cough vaccines since he goes everywhere with me. Beamer also has a yeast infection in his paw pads... so dealing with that at the moment. The first sign of allergies, though it could be from him just licking them or his paws staying wet.
Like I said earlier, I am really putting packing off. I really have no motivation to do it and also packing means I am moving, which I want to put off as long as possible. Plus, I still have no idea how much I want to take from my room upstairs. I was hoping to only take a few things, but now I'm not so sure. I think most of my packing is going to be once I get back home from comic con. I'm still nervous, scared, excited, and a hundred other emotions about moving, but it is an all new adventure for me and I have a fantastic woman waiting out there (at least, I am hoping! Fingers crossed!)
Things will soon all fall in place.
Also, yesterday being the 4th, I went to my grandmas for a few hours for some food and fireworks. It was nice to see her and my cousins again. Then I came home and played Mass Effect 2 for quite a few more hours racking up more quests. I'm probably about halfway through the game at this point and then onto Mass Effect 3 (prepare for lots of feels... that game tugs at my emotions too much).
Finally, I have 2 new followers! Yay! Hope you all are enjoying my blog (all 3 of you!) I guess my shameless post on SDN worked. For now, I'm getting off here to play some more Mass Effect 2 tonight.
